So, who am I?
I've spent over 26 years as a project manager for a large corporation. I did all the things project managers are supposed to do - managed scope, kept us on schedule, and, most importantly, managed the budget. I was good at my job, and the work was rewarding enough. Did it light my fires? Not necessarily. But it fed the structured, "control enthusiast" math nerd in me.
Eventually, I found myself part of a small business making custom apparel. This work was definitely more rewarding, particularly with the joy in seeing a customer's excitement wearing something I actually made for them. But it was hard work as well. And I was only doing this as a fun little side gig, I couldn't imagine how someone did this work as their full-time career! With working for my big corporation, I never realized how hard small business owners work every day to keep their companies running.
Bookkeeping allows me to bring the best of both of these worlds together and do something that actually does light my fires. I can take my structured, organized approach and financial expertise and use it to help business owners like you, already working so hard every day, by taking some of that load off of your mind. It will bring me joy to clean and organize all of your financial records, transactions, and obligations, allow you the peace of mind to focus on your business, and stage you for continued growth and success.
